My birthday was a few weeks ago, and I ordered this as a kind of gift to myself. My username on FA is, obviously, Foidsyenite, which is short for Feldpathoid-Bearing Syenite. And this is a sample of that very same type of rock.

Nothing more to this image than that. I got a nice rock because it matches my FA username. I hope you all like to see it; this is a bit of a rarer rock, so even some of you rock hounds may not have seen it before.

I don't know anything about the mineral store in question, and this is not an ad. The store is just the only one I could find which had a reasonably priced sample.
