This boy really made me happy! Here is why:
This boy's name was Marley, and he was distraught by the thought of seeing Santa. He grabbed onto his mom's leg and ran behind her. He was having NONE of it. I felt bad for him, because he looked a bit disappointed. However, I did some silly waving at him, then we copied each others' movements. After a bit of warming up, he walked up to me and we talked for a while. He showed me some of the stickers that he got from the front of Santa's set, and we played with them. When his mother said it was time to leave for a bit, he said that he wanted me to come with him! His mom told him that I needed to stay so I could say hello to the other kids. I shared her sentiment, but I shared one last hug with him before he left.

It really was a magical experience. The volunteer who took this photo said that I should think about starting my own ministry, which I thought was extremely neat!
