I had a terrible week at school. Got a bad grade, got yelled at by my parents, procrastinated multiple homework assignments and got a total of like 11 hours of sleep. Today I finally told myself "what are you doing man? What happened?" I thought about it and I had come to the conclusion that I wished everything was easy but it isn't. We all have to deal with problems, that's just it. But I assure you, you can get through a lot. I recently finished my homework assignments and I'm going to be going to bed at a decent time tonight. It feels good to say that my hard work paid off. Keep going everyone. You got this.

I remember listening to this for the first time. It was my first exposure to lofi. I was crying that night from my homework. I was too stressed to focus, and I couldn't understand anything on the homework. I worked on it for over two hours. When I turned this on, I felt calm and composed. Here I am almost a year later, listening to that same video struggling with yet another math assignment.
Here's something to remember: Over the years your homework has gotten alot harder, right? It went from simple addition to complex algebra and negative numbers and utter nonsense. And yet you're still able to decipher what it means and (hopefully) get the right answer. So that means that you've gotten so much smarter without even realizing it! @@totallynottoast798 Yeah I was doing algebra that night and I was also just doing it when I wrote that comment. It sucks. I was put into advanced math so with COVID, being virtual, having a messed up schedule (my school gave us 3 schedules in a month with extra long classes and no breaks), a lot of homework, and some other things, I was not having a good time. I was stressed, and I never understood mental health issues until those moments. I was not feeling my usual happy self, I was getting no sleep, I had my first migraine, none of my friends were in-person so I was lonely, and I was always tired. I am usually a freak over my grades. But I had B- almost the entire year in algebra. With all of those issues on me, they doubled when I went back in person. My teacher told me I was borderline being held back because I didn't do so well on a standardized test. The day after that, I failed a test and I went home numb. I worked my butt off for the next month and I didn't fail any tests after that. I got my final grade as an 86%. I got into Geometry 1. But after I found out my final grade, all of the stress I had before is gone. Life feels normal again and I'm hoping I don't go back into that pit of mental health mess that I suffered through. Anyway I am sorry I ranted so much but I feel better getting that out. This is something I would never tell my parents and this comment section seems pretty relatable so I feel comfortable posting this.

I've been listening to lofi for over a year now. I started listening to lofi in 2020 during quarantine to help me with homework and I worked. It fills the empty silence but isn't a distraction. I wanted music without words but wasn't classical or something like that and then lofi pops out of nowhere and I instantly fell in love. I love how chill the community is and how there's a playlist for every mood and activity. I wanted a fall/October playlist but isn't "spooky" and I found this. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. This is what I chose to listen to today as I left my place of employment, feeling satisfied with the work I put in, the fact that my rent is paid 3 days early, I finally have groceries in my fridge that are MINE…. I felt nostalgic. I still feel nostalgic. Maybe it’s because it’s been a long time since I could do this on my own but this realy helped me complete that feeling Yaknow?

I had a terrible week at school. Got a bad grade, got yelled at by my parents, procrastinated multiple homework assignments and got a total of like 11 hours of sleep. Today I finally told myself "what are you doing man? What happened?" I thought about it and I had come to the conclusion that I wished everything was easy but it isn't. We all have to deal with problems, that's just it. But I assure you, you can get through a lot. I recently finished my homework assignments and I'm going to be going to bed at a decent time tonight. It feels good to say that my hard work paid off. Keep going everyone. You got this.

I remember listening to this for the first time. It was my first exposure to lofi. I was crying that night from my homework. I was too stressed to focus, and I couldn't understand anything on the homework. I worked on it for over two hours. When I turned this on, I felt calm and composed. Here I am almost a year later, listening to that same video struggling with yet another math assignment.
Here's something to remember: Over the years your homework has gotten alot harder, right? It went from simple addition to complex algebra and negative numbers and utter nonsense. And yet you're still able to decipher what it means and (hopefully) get the right answer. So that means that you've gotten so much smarter without even realizing it! I wish you luck on your homework, and i hope you get an A+! 😊
@@totallynottoast798 Yeah I was doing algebra that night and I was also just doing it when I wrote that comment. It sucks. I was put into advanced math so with COVID, being virtual, having a messed up schedule (my school gave us 3 schedules in a month with extra long classes and no breaks), a lot of homework, and some other things, I was not having a good time. I was stressed, and I never understood mental health issues until those moments. I was not feeling my usual happy self, I was getting no sleep, I had my first migraine, none of my friends were in-person so I was lonely, and I was always tired. I am usually a freak over my grades. But I had B- almost the entire year in algebra. With all of those issues on me, they doubled when I went back in person. My teacher told me I was borderline being held back because I didn't do so well on a standardized test. The day after that, I failed a test and I went home numb. I worked my butt off for the next month and I didn't fail any tests after that. I got my final grade as an 86%. I got into Geometry 1. But after I found out my final grade, all of the stress I had before is gone. Life feels normal again and I'm hoping I don't go back into that pit of mental health mess that I suffered through. Anyway I am sorry I ranted so much but I feel better getting that out. This is something I would never tell my parents and this comment section seems pretty relatable so I feel comfortable posting this.

I've been listening to lofi for over a year now. I started listening to lofi in 2020 during quarantine to help me with homework and I worked. It fills the empty silence but isn't a distraction. I wanted music without words but wasn't classical or something like that and then lofi pops out of nowhere and I instantly fell in love. I love how chill the community is and how there's a playlist for every mood and activity. I wanted a fall/October playlist but isn't "spooky" and I found this. This was exactly what I was looking for to do homework with my bath and body works fall candle, so this playlist set the vibe. So, thank you.
