- Delete: Does not appear to meet WP:GNG, does not seem to have reliable sources suggesting that it satisfies any of the WP:NSONG criteria. Cannot find any reliable sources covering the subject so I don't think a merge would help here Justiyaya 09:17, 14 March 2022 (UTC)

- Keep - I was able to find a few sources separate from album reviews. And I am sure there are others since (1) my Kinks' library is not very extensive, (2) one of the sources I added makes reference to contemporary reviews of the single, (3) the oldest book here is from 1998; it seems unlikely that nothing was written about it for its first 23 years of existence and then several books showed up since, and (4) The index to Johnny Rogan's Ray Davies biography, which I found on Google Books, shows multiple pages addressing the song, although I can't see those pages to see how significant the coverage is. In any case, even if not kept, the sourced information should be merged to the album article, but this is not ideal since this was released as a single and there is coverage in multiple sources (and at over 500 words almost fully sourced it wouldn't really fit into the album article).
