| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Kenji needs to keep his dream alive. Even though there were ton of drama the previous episode, I find this one pretty light with humor. Sora should be ready for his own future though. Seems like the episode is building more towards his team and they got some tough competition ahead. |

| Kite's problem is solved and lol he already became close with the girl he hit back then. Thou the way his problem got solved in the bathroom was funny. Looks like the manager will make appearance next episode. Looking forward to it. |

| Wait, Momoharu is a megane and Kenji already has a gf?? When did these happen, how did I miss these details? O.o Things are getting started, although... For one, this "turn the other cheek" routine really never works. I should know, been there and done that too many times. For two, it just seems like every single person that's about to come near the team, has some delinquent or other out to get him, so it's like the perfect excuse to bring danger to the club, again and again. I hope it stops, because it's already gotten tired and it's only the 9th episode. That said, I'm somehow constantly amazed by Kenji - both his looks and his personality. I also love the translation, feels quite a bit more natural English than what we're used to. |

| Another great episode. I was about to cry when Kite was thinking about his dad but then Chiaki pop out asking for some tissues! What a crap XD. So excited for next week, their manager will be revealed. |

| So Kite has finally joined the team, but they have less than a month to get ready for the first match of the tournament. Seeing Kite getting beat up by a group of delinquents was hard to watch, but he resisted the urge to fight back to protect his team and his dream. |

| The scene where Kite takes all those hits and then tells sensei that bearing the pain might not be his thing was great. So much heart. :( Glad to see the basketball team coming together. |

| Tobi has had a good development on this episode, it makes me proud. He was able to mend his ways and focus on Basketball instead. Momoharu's sense of direction:-D I wonder who will be their manager? I don't think it's Madoka though, unless she quit the girl's team, but I highly doubt it. Not a bad episode, if only there was basketball! |

| Finally, Kite was able to join the team. His skills are really amazing. The principal was the savior of the team, I hope they could enter the inter-high competition. Too many dreams are being shared in this ride. |

Also another funny part that Tobi immediately became close to the girl that he accidentally got injured! hahah! nice move! Chiaki got pissed! hahaha! 5/5. |

| I missed Madoka this episode :/ It was nice to see Kenji formally joining the team but his change of mind and attitude felt too sudden for my liking. Especially when, out of nowhere, you decide to open up to a guy who was taking a dump in the open xD |

| The toilet scene was my favorite. Followed by Chiaki getting jealous over Kite getting together with the girl he knocked over. As much as I love this feel-good series, that scene of Kite getting beaten up, yelling that they shouldn't touch his ball because it's precious to him, was dumb as fuck. Don't say that it's precious to you, they're obviously going to kick it or destroy it in somehow because they know it's going to piss him off or hurt him. He also allowed himself to get beaten up because he wanted to understand what their teacher was trying to tell them about pain? Talk about some generic shounen bullshit. |

| Loooooooool & the girl becoming Tobi’s girlfriend. I can’t blame her, how do you resist him x) Wowie Momoharu in his glasses. And getting them on the wrong train L O L I like how Sora has brought them here. To this point. Reignited their passion, having such an influence over them, whether they realise it or not. He is quite the endearing boy I believe I will quite enjoy this series. Or maybe should get into the manga. I love the characters & watching their matches or not will not affect my enjoyment at least just yet. It’s gonna be a bummer once the lackluster animation starts to become jarring & full of still-frames (or so I’ve heard) |
