I have a thing for tomboys. (don't judge) Any stories where the male mc ends up with a tomboy? Preferences: The tomboy has short hair, is athletic, and shows to have a girly side, but not requirement. I would prefer if she's the female lead. Bonus if she's the childhood friend of the male mc. example: Ginen Shounen - Mirai, the female mc, is basically an energetic tomboy. |

Killing the titular character and Suzuka's daughter Fuuka in the first 30 chapters just to replace her with another character named Fuuka was fucking retarded. |

I liked the first Fuuka a lot. I didn't see the reason to kill her. You could easily have the story be about 2 girls named Fuuka and show it from both of their points of view. I'll check those other 2 out, but I tend to like manga that aren't as episodic and focus on a few characters rather than many. |

Seen it. It was okay. I found the mc and tomboy likeable, but her sister and the mc's alternate form I didn't. I found the sister who the mc liked first to be kind of a shallow bitch. Though he was better with the tomboy. |

Perhaps not quite what you're looking for, but Oresama Teacher is a romance, but the MC is actually the tomboy in this instance. It's really good though. Kaichou wa maid-sama might be a little in that direction as she is tomboyish at times, but not entirely. |

(no pun intended) well, I admit Fuuka has its own problems beside what you point out back to the topic, I think this might come as spoiler about Hourou Musuko the main girl is tomboy in there, and she was amazing, really but she doesn't ended up with male MC because she's too late to realized her feeling for the MC so this doesn't really count as the thing that you requested, but I think I still need to mention it |

He then tries to achieve the dream she had for him with the help of her younger sister and they eventually fall in love, right? I see u already watch the legendary maison ikoku. So what's it all about btw? It's really good. Godai, the mc, lives at this old apartment building. They get a new manager named Kyoko. Godai falls in love with her at first sight. Her thing is she recently became a widow after only being married to her husband for 6 months. She fell for him in highschool (he was a teacher) and they knew each other a number of years before marrying. Eventually she falls for Godai, but her lingering feelings for her last husband causes a strain on their relationship. She moves on in the end because of Godai, but there are many times she basically insults him with the talk of her late husband. Won't give them all, but there's one where she offers to make him dinner early on, he gets happy, but then gets depressed when he finds out she cooked her dead husband's favorite meal for him and it made her think of her dead husband. It's also a comedy so there's a lot wacky misunderstandings. The anime was great and adds a bunch to the story via filler, but in this kind of story, filler works. It just shows more of them living their lives. It follows the manga closely, but also did a few events the same, but different if you get what I mean, so I recommend both the manga and anime. You can only really find the english version of the manga, but nothing was censored and it stays true to the story. Watch the sub of the anime because the dub was terrible. For some reason, the dub switches all the voice actors like halfway through. Definitely give it a go. |

Also, another thing that annoyed me was when That they went through all of the trouble of focusing on that one set of childhood friends even going as far as having the guy being told "Tell her before it's too late" and then it just kinda gets dropped and never resolved. Hopefully the sequel will show it, but still. |

I have my own suggestion: Little House with an Orange Roof The female lead Natsumi At first she's really feminine, but later on after getting with the male lead Shoutarou, you find out as a child she used to be a huge tomboy. Natsumi's happiness with Shoutarou brought out her true personality which is that of a energetic tomboyish character. |

Since you only list five series here, it's tough to know what you've seen and what you haven't. Glad you enjoyed it. Cross Game is one of my favorite shows. Tanabe Ai in Planetes might be characterized as having a tomboyish personality. It's been a while since I watched it. Same might true for Kasahara Iku in Toshokan Sensou. Both of those are senpai romances between a male superior and a female junior. It isn't hard for Kasahara to look tomboyish alongside her ultra-feminine friend Shibasaki Asako who looks like this: |

The only thing I wish is that It explored Ko and Aoba's relationship a bit more instead of wasting time on all these pointless side love interests that go no where. Mainly because they get more screentime than the main relationship of Ko and Aoba. Like the girl who was exactly like the dead sister. Adachi has used that before in another work of his. Miyuki. It's about step siblings who fall in love, and there's another girl who likes the main guy named Miyuki as well who's like his step sister. |

I would have preferred it be about both Fuuka, showing both of their perspectives and then someone other character get the Seo Kouji required death. By the time she died, I HATED IT, I DESPISED IT. I couldn't accept that shit. But come to think about it later, everything happened too fast compared to Suzuka. Of course, it was so nice, she was adorable and all that had happened in the mangá so far seemed in vain. But he had to make us like her a feel connected to their relationship, to be impactful. She was never meant to be, since the beggning, she was just a plot device. And a good one, the mangá has never been so good and is just that much more remarkable when it ends. But her being Suzuka's daughter, I agree with you, unnecessary, it just ruined Suzuka's ending. And one of those days I saw the preview for Fuuka's anime, shit, it all just came back to hurt me. Sorry for the long post, it's nice to see someone who understands it. Fuuka's discussions threads are so empty nowadays. |
