As someone who likes vanilla anime so much, it is frustrating to know HOW A SINGLE SENTENCE DESTROYS THE ANIME AS A WHOLE. |

| Fanservice and unrealistically big boobs, it's cringe-worthy and stupid. Often makes me hate/not watch a show (but not always) and perverts (Meliodas). Excrutiatingly written female characters that only ever support and chase after the male characters (Elizabeth, Lucy, Sakura, literally every second female shounen character). Badly OP characters/power of F R I E N D S H I P (Fairy Tail, Naruto). As someone has already mentioned, Joseph in part 4 (I loved him before part 4. After? I hated him). Forced comedy somwehre it doesn't belong (can't think of an anime right of the bat but Xenoblade 2 as a good example). Cute tsundere loli stereotypes (something like Oshino from Monogatari except she was actually badass). | The fanservice in Fire Force. Though without it the show would not stand out from the others in the slightest... At least the mid-fight moodkiller fanservice deserves to be removed. Carole's unrequited crush on Kyle in Carole & Tuesday, which was one of the many reasons the second half bombed. I can't stand worthless romance subplots. Unnecessary narrative dialogue that repeats stuff that happens on screen, a lot of shōnens do this. Sometimes infodump storytelling is acceptable, but when it's just stuff like "She kicked him in the groin and he let her go, because he's crouching in pain!" that doesn't add anything, I'd rather be without it. + I agree with incest & pedo shit in The Monogatari Series. I like the show, but the sexualization of minors and the fact that people try to justify it makes me really uncomfortable. |
